Wizard Interface
GeoBalance has a user friendly wizard interface. Every step of the process is guided by the wizard. You will be running your first optimization in only minutes after installing the software. There’s no need to learn about complex technical issues because the software walks you through the process.
Mapping
The Mapping feature in GeoBalance provides you a visual representation of your regions, so that you can identify areas of interest, such as railroad tracks or rivers. Once your redistricting solution is complete the map can be exported to other GIS systems.
Cluster Influence
The “Cluster Influence” can be adjusted to make your regions more pragmatically organized. This feature allows regions to be shaped so that drive time is minimized in a region in exchange for perfect volume balancing.
